New Transfer Station Cards are available for pick up at the Municipal Office Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. If you are unable to pick up your card in person, you may request to have it mailed to you by completing this form: Transfer Station Mailing Form. You may also submit a request in writing to have someone else pick up the card on your behalf . The request may be sent to admin@townofkearney.ca .

The Municipality provides each residence with 1 card per household which gives the residence 60 bags per year. How do they work? The card works like a gift card and comes pre-loaded with $120. At each visit, the resident will present their card to the Transfer Station Attendant and for each bag of garbage they bring, $2 will be removed from the card until the balance reaches $0. The resident may purchase more bags at any time by contacting the Municipal Office. If the card is lost or misplaced, please contact the Municipal Office so the card can be deactivated and a new card can be purchased for $10.
