White's Trail: Length 1.6km

Located at 190 Main St, this gem is a scenic, four-season, non-motorized, multiuse trail. The loop runs alongside a large wetland area beside Sucker Creek, then curls through open field and woodland.

Amish Hiking Trail
Animosh Trail: Length 1km

Access Points: 190 Main Street or 103C Patton Rd.

Walking from the Main Street access point, you will pass through a flat area with poplars to either side as well as a fenceline to the right.  As you enter more dense and diverse woodland you walk up the Widowmaker hill.  The trail ends near a sandy area.  Turn left along the old laneway to Patton Road.

This four season, non-motorized trail is perfect for walkers, bikers, bird watchers, photographers, cross-country skiers and snowshoers.

Moose, deer and black bears visit the area.

Note:  Part of Patton Road is not maintained in the winter.

Bare Rock Hiking Trail
Bare Rock Trail: Length 3.3km

Access Points: 154 Stoeger’s Road or 937 Rain Lake Road

Our longest trail includes an unopened section of Stoeger’s Road as well as a section of the unopened 10th sideroad.  The trail is broad and easy walking although some sections can be wet in the spring or after heavy rains.  Sturdy footwear is highly recommended.

In combination with Stone Fence Trail and Ebertson School Trail a hike of almost 7 km is possible.

This trail is perfect for walkers, bird watchers, photographers, cross-country skiers and snowshoers.

Horseshoe Trail: Length 0.6km

Access Point: 68 Patton Road

The trail takes you up and along a ridge above Sucker Creek to the right. The roller coaster terrain curls through a picturesque hardwood forest.  The current end point is a well-marked gate which leads to private property.  Retrace your steps from this point.

This four season, non-motorized trail is perfect for walkers, mountain bikers, bird watchers, photographers, cross-country skiers and snowshoers.

Note:  Part of Patton Road is not maintained in the winter.
