Social Services

The District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board (DSSAB) provides social services to all citizens in the District of Parry Sound, including:

  • Children’s Services (Child care information & fee subsidy, directly operated home and child care programs, EarlyON programs, and Inclusion Support Services)
  • Income Support & Stability (Financial Support, Ontario Works, employment support, life stabilization support, and the Homelessness Prevention Program)
  • Housing Services (Community housing, landlord engagement, housing programs, and housing subsidies)
  • Violence Against Women (Esprit Place Family Resource Centre & Shelter, the Outreach Program, and the Children’s Voices Program)
