Transfer Station Cards Have Been Reloaded for the Year!

It’s May 1st, which means every eligible property’s transfer station card has now been topped up with 60 garbage bags for the year.
A few reminders for residents:
• Cards are issued only to properties with a dwelling or vacant land that has a proper entrance and a registered 911/civic address.
• Each bag dropped off at the transfer station deducts $2 from your card.
• Used up your 60‑bag allotment? You can purchase additional bags anytime.
• Cards cannot be used for construction materials or similar waste.
• Your card is permanent therefore you will not receive a new one each year. Lost your card? Contact the office to deactivate it. Replacement cards are $10.
• Properties with multiple owners can purchase an additional card for $10 and split the annual bag allotment.
