Know Before You Go

Shuttle Bus Service

There will be a shuttle bus service provided by Wilson Transportation available on Sunday, August 2 for Regatta fireworks attendees. Pickup service begins at 7:00 p.m. Two routes will be available: a northbound bus to Grass Lake/Sand Lake and a westbound bus to the Emsdale Community Centre (25 Joseph Street). Return departures start at 10:00 p.m. from the Kearney Community Centre (8 Main Street) following the fireworks. Cost is $10 round-trip for adults; children under 13 ride free. Pre-registration is required. Please contact Tomara at 705-380-7002 to register.

Parking and Road Closure

Main Street, from Lakeview Avenue to Rain Lake Road, will be CLOSED from Friday, July 31 at 6:00PM to Sunday, August 2 at 11:00PM
Parking is free throughout the Regatta weekend.
Parking for Vendors: Parking for vendors of the vendor market will be available at the Kearney Community Centre (8 Main Street)
Parking for Visitors: Visitor parking will be available along Lakeview Avenue, King William Street, John Street, and Park Road. A detour route for access to Main Street will be in place via Lakeview Avenue to King William Street to Rain Lake Road and back down to Main Street.

No Pets

Please leave your pets at home for their safety, your safety and for the safety of others.

Regatta is a very busy event and will include large crowds, loud noises, live entertainment, traffic, and fireworks making the event overwhelming and stressful for animals. The first weekend of August can also bring exceptionally hot weather, which may create additional health and safety risks for pets. Thank you for helping us keep the event safe and enjoyable for everyone.
